Eve is my best girl. Her sweet temperament and eagerness to please, combined with a strong work ethic make her a great partner.
She is very sound, balanced, moves cleanly coming and going with nice reach and drive. She has decent bone, a correct tailset, and tight feet.
She and I have had lots of fun together.
At eight months Eve passed 4 straight JH tests with flying colors. She was the youngest dog entered.
In February 2017 Eve made her dog show debut in the 9-12 month class at Silver Bay. She won back to back three point majors.
Eve won a five point major at the Riverside show in October 2017. The following weekend she made her debut in Senior Hunter and picked up her first leg.
In December 2017, Eve finished her championship at the GWFCRC supported entry under breeder-judge Masaki Shimizu.
I think she was shown a total of 8 times and won at four shows, all majors.
She finished her Senior Hunter title at 26 months, owner trained and handled.
In April of 2019 Eve and I made our debut in Master. We flunked our first attempt but passed the next seven! Eve now has 12 passes with only four failures.
At the 2019 FCRSA Specialty Eve was awarded a JAM in the Steady Singles competition and passed the Master Hunter Test. She also got 2nd place in the Intermediate Hunting Retriever Conformation Class under breeder-judge Helen Szostak.
In June 2021 Eve qualified for her Companion Dog obedience title in two weekends with scores in the 190s. She finished her CDX fall of 2022 with a nice score in Open A of 196.5.
